Perisic scored the opening goal from the penalty spot and added, "It's always about getting through the league phase first, then we'll see (how far we can go). We've picked up a lot of points and we're in a good position, but we still have some difficult games to come."

Perisic also praised the fans, saying, "The fans were amazing. They always are away from home. They support us so well and help us wherever we go."

PSV's Couhaib Driouech, who scored two goals, expressed his excitement, stating, "On a UEFA Champions League night, I get super powers. I'm going to watch this moment maybe a million times over. This is very special. It's a boyhood dream come true."
