Nottingham Forest's recruitment director, Pedro Ferreira, may be leaving the club. Ferreira, who is Portuguese, has been involved in Benfica's presidential election. A candidate, Noronha Lopes, has promised to appoint Ferreira as director of football if he wins the election. Ferreira previously worked at Benfica for 17 years before joining Forest in June 2024. Benfica members will vote to elect the club's president and new board later this month. This comes after Forest's technical director, Ross Wilson, left the club to join Newcastle United earlier in the week.
