The Portuguese club rejected an initial offer from Arsenal, and now the Premier League side is considering whether to make a new bid. If Sporting do not lower their price, Arsenal may choose to walk away from the deal altogether.
Arsenal are not giving up on signing a new striker just yet. They are also in talks with RB Leipzig over a deal for Benjamin Sesko, although Liverpool and Chelsea are also interested in the Slovenian player.
