According to reports, Vlachodimos is willing to facilitate negotiations between the two clubs to make a permanent transfer a reality. This would involve Newcastle selling him to Sevilla, while also recouping some of the €23.5m they invested in his signing from Nottingham Forest in 2024.

Now, the decision is in Newcastle's hands, as they no longer rely on Vlachodimos but still want to recover some of their investment.
